We got offers from Daikozenji about the context they want to renew the autumn leaves illumination that they have done by themselves so far at the milestone of founding 1,300 years in 2017 and we proposed “Renovation of illumination” used with existing lighting equipment. The reason we did is because we could try to come true within the average annual budget and open the door of lighting design. We drew a story based on the origin of the place while making improvements from a technical aspect such as changing lamps of existing equipment or the attachment of custom-ordered hoods, from the perspective of angles or arrangements, color temperature, light distribution, and copes with glare, and we expressed “A Lighting story of Chigiriyama” by the illumination that we set different themes about four every areas.
