We renovated a dental office that had been in operation here for a long time in a corner of Ropponmatsu, which is bustling with the redevelopment of the former Ropponmatsu Campus of Kyushu University. Centered on the symbol on the white wall, the waiting room with good visibility and the counseling room with privacy are appropriately planned within the large opening of the retro building We designed the waiting room using white as the main color so that the difference in materials and textures and the spread of light can be felt delicately, and also aimed to spatially express this hospital's precision medical treatment and their passion for keeping a mouth easy to prevent cavities. We designed the examination room to coexist with functionality and comfort by using indirect lighting that illuminates the walls and accurate shooting, while taking into consideration the patient's line of sight toward the ceiling. The logo graphic is an image of the medical concept of MI (Minimal Intervention; building relationships that minimize medical procedures) superimposed on the image of a circle of a microscope. The gradation that spreads in the back symbolizes the path to a bright future.
