Branding & Design

HORANGI

This is a corner of the back alley area of Watanabe-dori, which has become known as "Ura-Tenjin" and is gaining centripetal force with the extension of the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line. A chef from Seoul who has experience cooking in Japan and Australia has opened a new Korean dining restaurant here that combines the charcoal-grilled Japanese cuisine with the street food of his hometown. From the exterior to the interior space, to the logo, menu, and other graphics, the yellow and black colors of the "tiger" in the restaurant's name are cited to create a design that retains a common image even if parts of the design are cut out on social networking sites or in various media. We expressed zoo-like excitement through a wire mesh facade, counter seating with large peek-a-boo openings, and a cage-like semi-private room design.
